Awesome results with Drata!
What do you like best about the product?
The portal was exceptionally intuitive. I didn't need to provide any coaching to get the entire organization onboarded.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some things I would add, and I have shared my feedback with a very attentive product team. I want to help them as much as they want to help me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We ensured visibility around security compliance and audit readiness for ISO27001 and SOC2.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I have used/tested several tools to prepare for audits. Drata was the easiest and onboarded, audit ready within 3 weeks. Worth a look.

A good buying experience
What do you like best about the product?
They set very realistic expectations about how long it takes to implement & achieve SOC2 during the sales process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their auditor view wasn't great when we bought. Since then they've improved it but it still added time to our audit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wanted an automated solution for SOC2 monitoring. They definitely made it easier, there are still a lot of manual steps though and that's unavoidable despite the tools you use.

Drata nailed everything in our entire process, from onboarding to product quality, to customer service; everything was top notch

No real complaints; everything was incredibly smooth.

Great Experience with Drata!
What do you like best about the product?
We've had a great experience working with Alex H at Drata! Not only did he make the process seamless, he was also always available to answer every question! The tool is also amazingly user-friendly and easy to navigate and understand!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of! Everything has been great so far!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are working on our Soc 2 compliance. This process has also helped us do a deep dive into internal policies.
Drata is a one stop portal, where you can monitor overall infosec controls of the organisation
What do you like best about the product?
Monitoring of Services including AWS, MongoDB, employee accesses, and Policies on a single platform. Determine the exact threat for a breach and apply the remedy for it. Mapping of evidence directly on to the controls was helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
We suggest having separate sections to individually keep the documents, against respective controls, rather than a common reports and documents section. This will help in finding the documents faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps in Determining the areas of vulnerabilities that prevail as well as areas of breachs to fix them. Also, best practices for respective controls are available.

Good Portal to manage all Compliance, under one-roof
Great system, great support, great experience overall
What do you like best about the product?
Great support and a great self-explanatory system that helped us identify and get to know SOC 2 requirements very well and quickly. Drata provided assistance each step of the way in preparation for the audit.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few small things were missing that can't be integrated or aren't monitored, but nothing that we couldn't handle in a different way, and new features are always added and things get resolved quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We wanted to be SOC 2 compliant and they helped us get to know SOC 2 and its requirements, understand the entire SOC 2 compliance procedure and direct us to where we needed.
Great support, Amazing UI/UX, simplified SOC2
What do you like best about the product?
The success managers are super helpful, make the onboarding process super simple, and are always helpful with training and additional support along the way. The tool provides a great UI making a complex process simple to follow. The onboarding checklist is super useful, additionally, the templated policies are great for a quick start rather than having to write those from scratch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recently they started supporting security control status updates daily via email. This is already very useful but I would prefer to have more choice on when these are triggered. Also, a Slack integration would be super useful so alerts can be sent when tests are failing to individuals within the team and/or channels
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating and monitoring all tests for getting us SOC2 type 2 ready, as a small company with limited resources helped massively. Keeping all our evidence on one single platform and being able to share the current control report is super useful.

Compliance done easy, right, and modern
What do you like best about the product?
Using Drata has been a breeze and exactly what a small-scale tech startup needed in order to get into compliance with SOC2. Drata is straightforward and takes you step-by-step through the compliance process. The monthly meeting with our representative at Drata has been a great resource and helped to keep us on track on the compliance trail. Having the policies already drafted has been great, and being able to adapt to our other policies or internal policies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much to dislike there. If anything, there is bit too much information to begin with, which can be overwhelming at first. The platform is well designed and the support is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Drata for our SCO2 compliance. The benefits of doing this through Drata is that all our policies and processes in relation to that are in the same place, as well as the continuous monitoring of our compliance status.
The Drata experience was efficient, excellent, and easy.
What do you like best about the product?
The Drata team is professional, current, helpful, and available. SOC accreditation is a daunting task, but with Drata we always had support, and we were never alone.
What do you dislike about the product?
Drata has been a godsend, and I would recommend Drata to any company moving towards SOC 2 compliance. I appreciate how Drata is constantly improving the user experience and addidng to their compliance platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Drata platform has helped to integrate SOC 2, HIPAA, and HR compliance all in one place which is driving interdepartmental efficiencies. We are saving time and money!!!
Excellent integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Integrations have been easy to implement and drastically reduce workload.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unmonitored controls still require a lot of cycles to provide evidence for - more in-app forms or walkthroughs for producing evidence would improve the experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Time overhead for maintaining compliance is reduced, and we have a very clear picture of what we need to do to speed up future compliance assessments. Auto-generated reports to provide to potential partners have the potential to speed up sales cycles.
