Best security compliance platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is a very useful security compliance tool. We just got the SOC 2 compliance through Drata very smoothly. A few things I really liked Drata:
- The dedicated customer success is a huge help. We were very anxious about the workload at the very beginning but the customer success made it much easier for us. They had a weekly meeting with us and track our progress. Whenever I had questions, Greta was very responsive.
- The policy templates are very very useful. It saves us lots of time.
- The upload document feature is one of my favorite features. It makes communication between us and the auditor much easier.
- The Get started and a step-by-step guide is very useful.
Overall, Drata is the best security compliance tool and it made our SOC 2 compliance process very smooth. We're very happy with it.

What do you dislike about the product?
Not much dislike but more on feature requests:
- I hope the policy template can have more explanation for those placeholders, or even just provide some examples.
- Many control and test we had to work with the auditor directly. Hope Drata can provide more examples for those controls.
- Hope the Drata agent software can have functionalities so that we don't need to purchase and install other softwares on our employee's laptops.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When we decided to go through SOC 2 compliance, we were very new to SOC 2 and have very limited knowledge about it. Drata definitely made the whole process much easier. It's a good experience for me to learn both how to use Drata and the whole SOC 2 compliance process.

Stellar experience
What do you like best about the product?
The product was easy to work with. In addition, Drata's customer support team (Ali) greatly supported us in achieving our SOC2.

There were minor issues in the product / service.

Helped us get to SOC2 and improve business processes while doing that.
Automation at its best
What do you like best about the product?
Drata really put the compliance on auto pilot! It's really all in one - from templates, overall tracking of the progress, keeping evidences and tracking the compliance of the personel! I really love the tool!

It will be a sin if I say something negative!

Compliance made much easier through Drata
What do you like best about the product?
The feature I've enjoyed the most is having centralized and detailed visibility of all our personnel, assets and also being able to see what compliance requirements need our attention. Drata's customer service has been excellent, even being available to chat in real time late at night (EST time) and offering clear instructions.
Our representative Noah Barnett meets with us frequently to address any issues we might have, get feedback, and give us excellent support on our SOC 2 type 2 compliance process.
Using Drata as our security compliance platform was an excellent decision and has made the compliance process much more manageable. Highly recommend it!

What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't anything significant that I dislike about Drata (I'm the person in charge of using the platform). My latest request/feedback is that I would love it if they had the option for dark mode in their UI, and I am confident the feature will be made available soon!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One crucial part for any compliance (and security) issues is having detailed and centralized visibility of all company assets and through all integrations available in Drata, we can have full control of what is necessary to achieve not only compliance, but also security best practices that benefit our company and our clients as well.
The Drata platform is very easy to navigate
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful about Drata is the convenience of having a centralized place to gather all the information required for the audits. I am not sure how this platform compares to the competitors because we have not used any other platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside of Drata at the moment is not being able to sync our new PEO platform with Drata. It would be helpful to be able to sync our new PEO with Drata to avoid any manual entries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Drata is preventing us for having to create a massive spreadsheet to gather all the information required for audits. It provides a centralized place for all the information needed.
Drata rocks!
What do you like best about the product?
We onboarded to Drata and within 1 week of working with their team got a picture of where we fell short on compliance measures. Our Success rep Laci works with us every other week to keep us on track for progress towards compliance and helps advise and knock down blockers for us to meet our goals! Great experience!

Nothing yet! I'm actually looking forward to getting auditors into the tool to make it super easy!

Security Compliance Automation That Goes Beyond Checking the Box
What do you like best about the product?
Drata is an easy-to-use tool that helps security leaders accelerate their security compliance efforts. As a security leader, I'm building a risk-based program based on threats to our organization. I was drawn to Drata because it allows me to customize our compliance efforts and not simply do a check the box exercise. I like how Drata realizes that security isn't a one-size-fits-all approach and provides tools to customize controls, frameworks, and policies without sacrificing automation. Gabe Bidot has been phenomenal as a customer success rep by understanding our goals, offering suggestions to help us to reach them as quickly as possible, and responding promptly to any questions we might have. The pace of new product releases at Drata is also great - they understand their customers and are constantly pushing new features to continue improving the platform. I also really like how you can generate a security report that can be sent to prospective customers so they can see your current control posture.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an additional step in their automation service, it would be great for the platform to connect background checks to employees automatically. The out-of-the-box risk assessment is more of a control assessment than a threat-based risk assessment, but Drata recently released additional risk assessment capabilities as an add-on.

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many good things to say about Drata. First and foremost, the quality and philosophy of support at Drata are unparalleled. Gabe Bidot has been a delight to work with and has expertly guided us throughout the process. The onboarding workflow and support system overall have been remarkably smooth. I can't say enough about Gabe and his team - they are excellent and a good enough reason alone to choose Drata.
From a technical standpoint, Drata is superb in usability, design and integrations. The platform guides you through the convoluted compliance process gracefully and the UI allows you to quickly identify and address problem areas. The documentation is thorough and very specific to the various nuanced hurdles you will face as you pursue compliance. The Drata team has clearly put an immense amount of work into it.
Drata takes the onerous and sometimes backward process of compliance and wrangles it into a modern interface and an enjoyable customer experience.
If you are on the fence, go with Drata. You won't be disappointed.
